Our Compassionate Approach

Veridica Mater provides victim‑focused, trauma‑informed advocacy, education, and training for families affected by domestic abuse within Family Law and the Family Court in England.

We support mothers navigating separation, safeguarding concerns, and court proceedings where domestic abuse, coercive control, or post‑separation abuse is present. Our work centres on safety, truth, and child‑centred outcomes - ensuring victims are supported, not silenced.

Victim Support

We offer monthly virtual Family Court clinics to help unrepresented victims; coaching and support on navigating post separation abuse and legal abuse.

Family and Friends Training

Free, self-paced, online training that takes you beyond the theory and gives practical guidance on how to identify abuse and victim-centred advice on how to help support victims.

No Mother should have to go to court alone. Mothers who can't afford representation are allowed a McKenzie friend. McKenzie Academy teaches you the skills to support victims in court.
